Waiting for Fledge Day

Day 17:  Too cold to fledge, but ready, very ready.
The nestlings wait . . . 
Mama waits . . .
Papa waits . . . 
Pearl waits . . .
. . . and waits 
The photographer waits . . . 
The frogs wait . . . 
Who's that waiting?
Confederate jasmine waits . . . 
. . . and waits
           Until tomorrow . . .

    LOL---close up photos can make even the most neglected backyard garden look good. Good rule of thumb: never photograph untended corners. The brown things are sesame sticks from our local farmer's market---delicious and savory.

    I love the stories in photos you weave around this little family - you can tell the birds and the garden at large that the whole world is waiting...!

    I am constantly enchanted by your garden. At least the frogs provide secret froggy music while you wait :-)

    That last photo with the blur of wings - like a little propellor.
