That is quite amazing. Glorious sunset colours. Are these particular ones harvested (commercially) or growing wild Deb?
Hi Jane! What fun to meet you here:-). I'm told Maine blueberries are ""wild" in name only. They are grown and harvested and marketed as wild bc they are more similar to smaller authentic wild berries than to the larger hybridized berries more generally grown around the country. These were definitely manicured fields---though we're told they do grow along roadsides as authentic wild berries when they escape beyond the farmed fields---due to their aggressive reproductive ability. Whatever they are, we found their fiery red blankets across the landscape to be mesmerizing!
