Great White Egret

I see it moving
among the bushes in the
Wayback. White feathers

Most egrets don't come
this far inland. What species
could be rustling there?

Slowly, I creep down
the path to investigate
The white feathers stop

I stop too to wait
till it moves again, that I
may see what it is

Ha! We both startle
at the sight of the other
It's my wedded love

This one made me laugh! Also, I want you to know that I read this every day. I would often like to comment but I see them in my email and I can't comment from there so I just don't bother. I do enjoy them, very much!

Peggy, I've been told by others that their replies won't post. My settings are supposed to accept comments without screening, but they still have trouble. How do you do it?
